It is our great pleasure to inform all the learned members of District and Sub-Divisional Bar Associations of Assam that the Mangaldai Bar Association is celebrating its 100th anniversary and its conclusion ceremony will be held on 24th, 25th and 26th February, 2018.
As a part of this celebration, Mangaldai Bar Association is planning to hold an All Assam Inter Bar Association Debate Competition among the lawyers of bar associations of Assam on 11th November, 2017 in Mangaldai.
In this context we will be extremely happy if all the District and Sub-Divisional Bar Associations respond it positively.

TOPIC:
In the opinion of the house- "The policy of demonetization by the Government of India is boon to Indian Economy."

RULES & REGULATIONS:
1.Each Bar Association can send one team for the competition consisting of two participants- one FOR THE MOTION and the other AGAINST THE MOTION.
2. Medium of debate will be in English and Assamese.
3.Each participating team is to submit an approval letter from the Secretary/President of concerned Bar Association at the time of registration.
4.The decision of judges will be the final.
5.The last date of submission of names of participants is 5th November, 2017.

RUNNER-UP: THUNDER BOYS
In the final match Bar Lions defeated Thunder Boys by 2:1 goals in tie breaker shoot out.
